A woman in need of late-night fast food had the police called on her after she showed up at a restaurant drive-through on foot.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to the Chatham restaurant on Park Avenue, on Monday shortly after midnight when the woman attempted to walk through the drive-through.
After being told by employees that they do not serve walk-ups, police said the woman tried to force open the drive-through window and refused to leave.
The woman fled the area before the police arrived and officers were unable to locate her.
Police are reminding the public to respect local businesses and the rules they have in place, which ensure the safety of customers and employees.
