As the group Water Wells First continues to try to stop the construction of wind farms in the former Dover Township, another public meeting is being held tonight.
Construction on the North Kent Wind 1 project is slated to begin this spring, and Water Wells First is urging residents within an 11 kilometre radius to get their well water tested before construction starts.
The call to action is based on the theory that vibrations from pile driving during turbine construction create increased sediment in groundwater
Tonight’s meeting is being held at Country View Golf Course, starting at 7 o’clock.
