Premier Kathleen Wynne’s trip through Chatham-Kent included conversations with a local group opposed to the sell off of Hydro One.  img_2049

Wynne was on a tour of the CK Museum when she was approached by Jordan McGrail of “We Own It” who asked why the province is selling off public services to private companies.

“Ontarians are retaining more than 40% at this point of Hydro One,” Wynne explains. “We are building assets with all of the money that came in from the broadening of Hydro One, and it’s being made into a better company.”

Wynne also spoke with protesters from Water Wells First.

We will continue to have more coverage of the Premier’s visit – stay tuned.
