Premier Kathleen Wynne is telling public sector workers there is no money for wage and benefit hikes and the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario have voted to strike but the Premier is confident that an agreement will be reached but her promise to balance the budget would mean no new money for the public sector.
