Officials at YA Canada are looking forward to a bright figure in Chatham-Kent.
An open house was held at the newly expanded facility in Chatham yesterday.
YA president and CEO Chris Behrens says the company has almost doubled its local workforce, and more jobs are on the horizon.
“We’ll be at full staff by November 6th,” Behrens says, “The next wave of increase we’re looking at the end of Q-1, so right about the March-April time frame we’ll have another wave of hiring.”
Behrens says the new office is about triple the size it was.
“As part of that expansion, we also have about another 5000 square feet that we can move into to add another 60 agents, and that will be not only agents but managers and supervisors.”
The Chatham call centre provides customer service for a number of big name clients, including Pepsi, T-Mobile, and Whirlpool.
