A local student will have the chance to bend the ear of Ontario’s Education Minister.
Raymond Yang from Wallaceburg District Secondary School has been selected to join the 2017-18 Minister’s Student Advisory Council.
The students meet with the Education Minister twice a year to discuss issues and give advice on the province’s publically-funded education system.
Yang recently returned from the Vimy Pilgrimage, has served on the United Way’s youth committee, and was a member of the public school board’s student senate.
