A Chatham man is once again in trouble with police after allegedly causing a disturbance at a local business.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to the disturbance at a retail business on Grand Avenue West in Chatham, shortly after 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Authorities said a man was yelling inside of the store and was refusing to leave. The man had also been ordered to remain 25 metres away from the business as part of his bail conditions from another incident.

As a result, a 30-year-old Chatham man was arrested and is now charged with failing to comply with a release order, and failing to comply with a probation order.

He was held in custody pending another bail hearing.
