The YMCA is looking at expanding its services to Walpole Island.
VP of Operations, Liz Fletcher says they’ll be gauging interest in the area over the next few weeks.
“Right now we are doing a market feasibility study to explore the Walpole residents, Wallaceburg residents, Port Lambton, Dresden surrounding areas,” Says Fletcher. “To understand their interest and needs on recreation and fitness facilities to be held in the Walpole arena itself.
The telemarketing portion of the research will continue for about three weeks, and Fletcher says they should have a full understanding of what services and facilities area residents want by the end of the summer.
