The YMCA and the Walpole Island First Nations have signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
Both Jim Janzen of the YMCA and Amie Johnson, who is the Comprehensive Community Planning Coordinator for Walpole Island First Nations joined XS Mornings and said there are many opportunities that now become available because of this partnership.
This the first time the YMCA has been involved in a project like this, with a First Nations entity in Chatham Kent.
