A Chatham teen has been arrested following an incident Friday afternoon.

Chatham-Kent Police say the suspect was holding a knife when he allegedly threatened to harm another teen.

The 16-year-old was arrested Sunday morning and taken to police headquarters, where he was held for a bail hearing. The teen has since been released to his parents’ care and is facing charges of assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and uttering threats.
