Young people around the area have a great opportunity to learn what it’s like to be a first responder this week when they take part in Camp Sirens.
This is a joint venture between the OPP, Medavie EMS, and Chatham-Kent police Services and Fire and emergency services.
The youngsters aged 12-13 will get a chance for some hands on activities working with each department.
The goal is to motivate the kids into becoming outstanding citizens.
It runs from 9-4:30 each day with a graduation ceremony at St. Clair College on Friday.
