An international women’s group with local ties celebrates 100 years today. 
The local Zonta Club is recognizing the history of the group, which formed in Buffalo New York.
The group has 1200 clubs across the globe, with more than 29,000 members.
The Chatham-Kent branch is best known for its Garden and Pond Tour, Purses with a Purpose, and Card Crop Days, all of which raise money to support women and girls in the community.
