A local service club is continuing its fight to eliminate violence towards women.

The Zonta Club of Chatham-Kent will be taking to the Third Street Bridge in Chatham later today to show support for the millions worldwide who suffer the effects of sexual assault, spousal abuse, human trafficking, rape, female circumcision and other crimes.

The rally will be held over the noon-hour as part of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence – an international campaign that aims to inspire action and end violence against women and girls around the world.

The Zonta Says No rally runs from 12:15 until 12:45 this afternoon.
