Get ready for a 4-day star-studded camp like you’ve never seen before! Star Power Camp is designed for kids ages 8-13 who love to sing, dance and are looking for a chance to step into the pop star spotlight.

Learn what it takes to POP on stage JULY 12-15 (9 am – 4 pm, plus evening performance on July 15) with fun dance & vocal classes with industry professionals who’ve worked with artists including Ariana Grande and Madonna; on shows like Hairspray, Disney, Camp Rock 2; and for productions on CBC and the Family Channel.

Four full days of sing-along classes, music video creation, hair & wardrobe styling, photoshoots, choreography sessions and more will prepare the campers to take the stage in the exciting culminating concert, Star Power Live on Friday July 15 @ 7 pm (tickets sold separately). As honorary cast members, campers will experience what it’s like to be a part of a professional show as they share the stage with the experienced teen talents of Star Power Live.

What is included in registration fee: 

POP VOCAL CLASSES: Learn from industry vocal coaches the skills needed to master family-friendly versions of the songs we all know and love. No vocal training needed.

DANCE CLASSES: Choreography Dance classes designed for the stage. Learn from industry choreographers what it takes to master the moves of your favorite pop stars. No dance experience necessary.

MAKE & STAR IN A MUSIC VIDEO: Shoot on location at the camp. All campers will receive the full pop star experience by starring in a music video! The video file will be shared as a lasting memory to send to friends & family!

STYLE SESSIONS: Dressed to impress. Campers will take their camp t-shirts, colors and accessories to create the look they will sport on stage in Star Power Live.

POP STAR PHOTOSHOOT: Get ready to smile and pose! A photographer will take both professional headshots of each camper and BTS photos available for download after the camp.

SWAG BAG: Camp t-shirt, camp binder, Star Power rehearsal microphone and program materials.

GET ON STAGE: Get ready to rock the stage alongside the teen cast of Star Power Live. Campers will get up close and personal with the next generation of pop stars throughout the camp through Q&A sessions, rehearsals, classes and autograph sessions.

Jamie Hodgins

Jamie has danced for MADONNA, ARIANA GRANDE, NICK JONAS, KIESZA and many more. On screen you can see Jamie as a featured dancer in Disney’s CAMP ROCK 2. He placed among the top 5 male Triple Threat finalists on CBC’s hit reality TV series, “TRIPLE SENSATION.” Jamie was cast in the last professional Broadway production of HAIRSPRAY (Charlottetown Festival) and managed, promoted, choreographed for the Mini Pop Kids for over 5 years taking them to over 60 shows per year across North America and over 25M views on YouTube. Other production credits include Toronto Kids Fashion Week, Treehouse’s hit series, Miss Persona, Canada’s Dance Festival’s HIP HOP 360 and so much more. With over 20 years teaching experience and 10 years producing, promoting and developing productions he is thrilled to be a part of Star Power and looks forward to seeing kids reach their star potential while discovering their own inner pop-star personas.

Jeni Walls

Jennifer is a performer, director, voice actor and educator. Over the past two decades she has performed on stages across North America and the UK. She has spent 7 seasons at the Victoria Playhouse Petrolia as an actor and earned critical acclaim for her solo work. She was a finalist on the CBC’s TV show How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria? And has been featured on the cover of NOW Magazine and in the Globe & Mail. She is the host/producer of Singular Sensation, Toronto’s premier live musical theatre event now in its 11th year and works as a mentor and vocal coach helping young and emerging artists find their voice through performance. Jennifer is also a critically acclaimed director and helmed both sold out productions Heathers the Musical and The Rocky Horror Show at Toronto’s Hart House Theatre. Off stage, she is an accomplished voice actor and has been the voice of the Family Channel for the better part of the last decade. Jennifer also works as a voice and performance coach at Lawson Vocal Studios in Toronto.  Having toured with the long running Stars Of Pop Celebrity Impersonation tour for over a decade, she is no stranger to the world of pop having starred in tributes to Kelly Clarkson, Christina Aguilera and Lady Gaga for over a decade and she is very excited to bring her experience and passion for performing to the party.
