A patient has died in Windsor, just days after the Windsor Regional Hospital declared an influenza outbreak. 
The Windsor-Essex County Health unit says they’ve confirmed 23 cases of the flu at the Ouellette Campus alone, compared to 20 total cases last year.
The Health Unit recommends staying home if you’re feeling sick, washing your hands frequently, and disinfecting work spaces and other common places.
The Chatham Campus of the Health Alliance is also experiencing an outbreak, with visitor restrictions in place until further notice.
